so, noticed a few spots of water from my tank previously, put it down to me messing around etc, went in the back today and lots of water around, from the tap area.
took it to bits and rebuilt with more ptfe tape, but i am not holding much hope of it holding out.
this particular set up has 4 sections, which seems a bit much for a right angled tap...
...what do you guys use as taps on your tanks?

go to your local pond place and they should sell the correct sizes rather then needing 3 or 4

tank on my van, 650 lay flat.
had to empty out 650 litres to sort it, not happy, especially after the week i have had... >:( >:( >:(

same tank as i had/got in one of my vans. you can get a brass fitting with a tap from a plumb centre in stony. if your interested in the same let me know and i can help you get it sorted

just refilling it at the mo to see if it is ok.
doin ma head in. this weel has been a total nightmare.

tell my mrs that, took a week off work so i could do a round that i am buying, and just had an absolute mare.
harris pole broke on first job.
then this whilst i was canvassing...not to mention waiting just shy of 2 weeks for a pole to be delivered from brodex... >:( >:( >:(
waste of a week, and basically messing my head up! hahaha!
oh, that and a promise of a job doing something i love...
anyway, feel better now having moaned!
might have to give you a buzz steve and get the name of the place in stony if it carries on leaking.
will find out in about 39 hours when my dribbler fills up the tank past the tap... ::)

i'm away on holiday until friday but if you wanna pop over and take a look at the connection on the van then no probs. it wern't cheap but its nice and tight and doesn't leak. i can alsoi have a look at what you done with that harris pole if you want. you must have a touch of an elephant ;D

he has the same van as mine but different signs on it most strange to look at. he came and bought some TFR off me last week and it felt a strange experience seeing my van with window washers written on it ;D The offer is there if you want it anyways ;)
