Title: Clearing houses to re let

Hi all
I have been doing EOT cleaning for a while now but I have been asked by a new agent (which deals in student letting) to clear the house which is ok but I don't know what to do with all the stuff. We are talking old wardrobes, and general student type fodder!
Your help would be appreciated

If you are dumping the items you need to find a place to drop them off legal but they will charge you.

Some items you can remove, but things like TV'S and monitors you have to get some who is registered or you will be fined. We get our clients to sign what is being removed and to the other end to sign for it.

Or you can just take wardrobes to local shop who sells second hand stuff to poor foke.

unless you have a trade waste hadlers licence get a skip in and dump the lot if thats what the customer wants but add the cost to the price

we are generally talking about food out of the cupboards, clothes and old alchohol bottles (I think that this is to show off how much they have drunk ::)). It will probably equate to about 10-15 black bags of rubbish. Do you EOT guys not get involved in house clearing or do you run to a local waste transfer site. I think that providing a skip will not be an option as this will add too much onto the cost of the job. (I do have a waste carriers licence so that will not be a problem).

Firstly depending on where you are, I assume you are in the UK. If so you need to register as a waste carrier.

As you are carrying other peoples waste and are charging for it.

You can also then take the waste to your nearest tip that accepts commercial waste. You will be charged for this depening on what it is, and the weight.
You can also take electronic good to these sites as well, Your local council will be able to tell you where your local commercial waste recycling centre is it not PC  to call hem a tip any more.

Still need a environment agency waste carriers licence no matter what the Qty is!  ;D

He's got a waste licence so he should know the score there - whatever the amount of waste on site quote for the job to clean up, your hourly rate to transport the waste and dumping at cost. If the landlord or agent want to fly tip let them do it
