As above really - have got the old one off but the new lamb vac we have doesnt seem to have connecting holes in the right places to bolt on securely. If I just bolt on by one side will it not try to fall out of the machine while in use?
Cheers

You need to make up a simple bracket.

Cheers Dennis - I remember that thread but not the end of it so at least I know now.
Not sure why I have just been sold a Lamb vac which isnt going to fit >:(
Do you think I would get away with fixing it by one point just for tomorrow? (just thought about it I supppose it would mean there wasnt a vacuum there as the pad wouldnt be held airtight but am willing to be told I'm wrong ???)

Have had it about 2 years but the vac is only about 9 mths old. Its one of the chinese but I did trip and spill water all down machine today so am fairly sure thats what caused this particular fault.
Its a bit late to call Jeff out the blue right now (?) but will try him tomorrow if I cant get this sorted tonight. Trouble is I have two biggish jobs booked starting 8.30
Not sure whether to risk trying it with only one bolt connected or whether this simply wouldnt work anyway (as above)
