Title: top tip for hot weather
Post by: RO-Sheen on July 01, 2009, 08:59:13 pm
Stick a 2 lt lemonade bottle in the freezer almost full with water the night before and it will slowly defrost in your van during the day giving you lots of cold water.
Be sure not to fill it though as water expands when it freezes and will split the bottle.

Anyone else have any other tips?

used to do that a few years ago, remember to put a plastic bag around it when you take it out of the fridge or all the dust and muck in your van will stick to the condensation on the bottle  :)

Been doing that for weeks now, got about 3 i freeze every night, and a 500 ml bottle which i fill up with the thawed water and take with me, its great because even when custies give you a drink its not cold, feels like tea lol its so warm, so i just stick to my ice water :)
