as the topic says , who else struggled like me in the heat, temperatures well into the 90c round the backs in the sun today. only managed 15 jobs before the heat stroke set in :'(
-
I didnt even do 15 ;D
-
Only working 2 1/2 to 3 hours a day. We have 35c here for the last few days. Wearing a wet T shirt helps and 2 or 3 ltrs water. :(
-
I don't get on too well in the heat. Being a fat git probably doesn't help my cause.
-
Worked until 13:30 then back home...not looking forward to Thur & Fri as these are very busydays for me....roll on October
-

Enjoy it guys, you know this wont last long, better than having to pack up the day for rain, least you can chill in garden with beer 8)
I came home and got the big inflatable pool out, still filling but its gonna be awesome tommorow 8)

I love this weather. Shorts, tee-shirt, deck shoes, factor 30, cap and gallons of water.
It's about the only time of year I actually enjoy this job.
You can stick the winter months up yer tuchas ;D

21 flats, 4 guest houses & 5 houses today. 28 in the shade today. Wore a very thin white top and baseball cap but still sweated profusely.
-
Started at 10am and walked in at 7pm.
We have just gone through one of the worst winters in decades in which peoples systems were freezing, the roads hazardous and cold like we haven't known.
Granted its easier to keep warm in the cold than cool in the warm but when I was sat in an office years ago looking out of the window wishing I was free from the shackles of my desk I longed for a job like I have now.
Make hay whilst the sun-shines boys!
And rinse extra hard in this heat. 8)

Boy it was cold in the winter on t'quad But boy is it pay back time now!
0 to 50 in 4ish seconds. There ain't a fan around to touch it. Just wish I could afford the Gardiner 45 footer to ease the load when I get there.
Someone else gotta buy one of these. For domestic work vans are dinosaurs.
Kevin.

Sean, you are my hero ;D Nearly 4 hours trad today mate, and I'm shattered :(
Still got enough done but I'm not the "hot weather" type. Tarmac melting and birds suffering from sun stroke here. Even the flies knock it on the head at midday. :(
-
Had enough by lunchtime today sod the money - time for a few hours off. got two guttercleans tomorrow so i'll need to bulk up for that. ;D

I have taken things easier this week, working in this heat is bad enough, but getting a decent nights sleep is even harder. Going to by a fan tomorrow.
-
Better today then yesterday - lots of iced water and went home for a shower about 2pm.
-

-
I have had an easy week this week also.
Wednesday had a splitting headache im sure its the heat that caused it so went home at 12
And not being able to sleep at night really does effect me workwise.
Still happy now as im off to greece early monday morning i won't mond the heat then as i can just pop into a bar or 3

Its strange ive been off the last 2 days and its really horrible at evening sat in the house, i cant cope with it lol, i think working in it helps the body adapt and when you stop work you feel cooler ?? Must be with me !!
