I used to use Alltec Ultimate Master in the TM, as a liquid, but they cant supply it anymore. So I want something similar to use in my tank.
I did try Fabric fibre and Rinse, but it is PH4 I believe, so I want something more neutral like Ultimate Master.
Any idea as to what will be a good replacemant liquid?

Chris from Alltec called and has advised me that it will be back in stock next week, so anyone that requires Ultimate Master can buy it soon.
thanks Chris ;)

benny,
Why not use UM powder in your TM. I have used the powder version in my TMs for over 6 years without any problem, scaling, deposits or anything else. It gives a better result than the liquid too.

Does that not seperate (become ineffective) at temps of over 60 degrees though, and you TM will go way way over that. I'm sure it will be good for descaling but will it clean?

The liquid is made for TM's.

I use Heatwave and am really impressed with it, good dilution rate and good on really dirty carpets.

The only way UM is affected by going over hot, is that the enzyme is killed off, whilst it maintains all its other cleaning capabilities, which are enhanced through the extra heat which more than compensates.
Liquid UM, IS designed for TMs, although not as good as the powdered version imo. The powdered version only separates and scumms up during mixing, and only when mixing with too hot water. Once in the solution bottle it goes back into solution as it cools down, so is not a problem.
I believe the liquid version was developed because some early TM operators using the powdered UM were getting a deposit build up in check valves etc and the UM was blamed. However nearly all these operators were in hard water areas, and I believe that that, that was the cause of the scaling up and not UM, as none of them had water sofeners fitted.

That interesting I might use up a massive tub of powder UM i got then!

Just mix 1Lb or 500 gramms into a 20 litre solution bottle for metering.

How long would 1lb/20 litre last Dave.
Dont use the meter system but could do so to use up some UM powder I got.
