Guys:
As a prespray I generally use the following dependant on fabric type and degree of soiling: ms, powerburst/Blitz, ultra high ph chem (Mostly Champion), multipro and polybreak for bw.
Is there really a difference between using them hot or cold on normal domestic soiling?. I had some powerburst left over from yesterday and presprayed a really trashed polyprop with it this morning. It came up a treat and the end result was no different than if the prespray was hot.
Thanx

I don't think so and even if sprayed down hot for most of the dwell time the prespray has gone cold anyway. I would say agitation is the most important thing you do with the prespray other than extract it.
I also find little to no difference when extracting hot, the exception may be very greasy carpets. 99% of the time I use cold prespray whether ms or detergent and cold extraction.

Hi Guys
Heat will speed up the reaction but in reality your prespary won't be very hot after a few mins in the bottle so doesn't really make much difference.
Remember the often forgotten important factor is time, detergents, colloids, enzymes etc will gradualy wet out and break down the dirt, so good planning is needed.
Agitaion will also speed up wetting etc but I find using water hot, removes the need for this on most occasions.
Cheers

From a cleaning point of view aggitation isn't needed but from a visual point then hot pre spray and aggitation will lift the pile.
