I'm going to start offering my customers a new service:
Instead of me going to their place and cleaning the windows they bring their windows to me 1st thing in the morning and I clean them in my garage for collection later that afternoon.
This new service won't suit all people but for some it'll be more convenient than having to hang around at home waiting for me to show up.
A few tips for newbies:
On a 1st clean get the window pristine then put on several layers of clingfilm...means the next time you go you simply have to pull off one layer and BINGO..a perfect window again.
Window too high or tricky to get at? Leave it...if custy complains explain that there was a spiders web in the corner and that your religion forbids you to take life.
Muddy shoes? Don't worry...walk around her house in them...you're doing her a favour in that it reminds her it's high time the carpets were cleaned. NB: This also helps out our carpet cleaning cousins.
If a customer says: "Now remind me. how much do I owe you?"...always add fiver.

No good for me, I haven't got a garage :(
-
;D ;D I like it. I will implement that to my business next week lol ;D ;D

I'm going to change my working practices: in future i'm only going to work on days when it's raining. This would mean I could have had the last fortnight off instead of only having free time on rainy days.

Ive been doing this for years, the only snag is you have to get the ladders off to put them back in their frames. >:( ;D

NO! I used to always have my hooter in a crisp packet lined with Bostik but since I went window cleaning I can afford class A drugs now ;D

You could take this a step further, and have a spare set of windows that customers can rent, whilst they are waiting for you to clean their main set of windows. So their carpets don't get wet if it rains ;D
Just like car valeting with a courtesy car.

You're the man...a man of vision. We should team up you and me...people who think outside of the box ;D
-
why not add a take away service where customer comes to collect water to do them himself could even set up loads of mopeds to deliver it to them in boxes like pizza.

I like cling film idea if its good enough for jenson button then its good enough for custys
