Got 2 of their Bulldog poles and want to get more, but on Googling can't get a current website up. Are they still around?

Buy a Harris pole and cut the top off and then buy a broom handle with an end thread that will take an angle adapter,make sure that the thread end is a tight fit down the end of the Harris and tap it in with a hammer.Before you does this drill a 10mm hole through the end of the thread for the pole hose,there you go you`ve got another Arris lol. ;D ;D

dont bother cutting top off.
soften the top plastic tip that screws on it, by turning it like a spit over the hob
then screw it into the angle adaptor as far as it will go. this creates a thread.
run it under the tap.
job done.
might want to put some super glue on when screwing the tip back to the harris.
then drill a hole through the bit just below the the thread.
this will stop the hose from pinching onto the clamps when using it clampless as it flies down.
simples :D

Or...........don't bother. Just buy a decent READY MADE pole go out and make money off it instead of tinkering for hours in your garage ;)

Why will it make you more money per hour than ANY ready made pole, this is quite a sweeping and unfounded statement? From my use of the Harris pole I found the section length is far too long for ground floor domestic work. A 13ft/17ft X-Tel is far easier to use and I would estimate that I would be about 10% faster using the X-Tel than the 'over-long' Harris. Over the course of a days domestic work this means that I would probably be able to clean an extra couple of houses/bungalows in the day. This would give me about £14-£20 extra in the day.

because the harris can be used clampless, what "ready made" pole can you have fully extended on an upstairs window on domestic in 5secs from collapsed length, up at the window ready to clean, and if flow is on already, then cleaning?
and when finished back to collapsed length even quicker.
it is a bit long too long ideally for some groundfloor, your right, but a change in body position is all thats needed really, and to use the pole horizontal rather than vertical
while your on the bungalows, i'll be half way through tomorrows work :P
now what would be good mr gardiner is to make an SLX telescopic clampless for domestic work, around 18-20ft would be nice please ;)
(and not too pricey)

Dont you have to twist to lock the harris pole, I wouldnt know as I havent made one as it doesnt appeal to me.

up and down q not to long but black hands ,glass fiber pole hate the splinters all over you hands wipe face with hand and yor face smarts

i use one and use it as clampless, it works a treat even with light hose.
i do sell them yes, i am speaking to alan this week to see what is happening with new stock...if there is going to be any or not ???

up and down q not to long but black hands ,glass fiber pole hate the splinters all over you hands wipe face with hand and yor face smarts
HATE the black hands, i've just got a box of surgical gloves, go through about 4/5 pairs a day, loads better now.
the Bulldog 1st section is Heatshrinked so not as bad

Wearing gloves is a good idea anyway due to contamination from hoses etc. Window cleaners who work for large companies often have to wear gloves as part of their H&S requirements.

spoke to alan this morning....he has 20 bare poles left, which need assemby...basic harris i think at mo...so i am going to pull the pole from my site...too much hassle for me 8)

That is a shame,.. there will be a lot of ppl upset that their £600 pole is worthless after the first break due to lack of spares.
