Title: 100% Viscose area Rug

I have been asked to clean a 100% Viscose Area Rug. I looked at it this morning and it is in good condition. I understand that it can not be wet cleaned. Would Host do the job?

If it's sparkly strands of viscose ( saw them come out last year )

 And if you work out how to do it let me know please , they are a nightmare the pile is too long for a  Host system as they jam up brushes and can't be hovered, and any kind of water system is a no no.

Thankfully they are cheap to replace.

After a few days in Cornwall last month....I wonder how many people are thinking what I'm thinking ;D

Come on Jim. I would love to know what you are thinking. I will be cleaning the rug on Saturday.

I'm thinking..... Pressure wash, extract pushing pile down (not back on itself), groom with fine brush, dry, groom again.

Requires 100% confidence and steel balls :D

I've witnessed a 100+ year old silk persian rug cleaned as above.

Of course that's only what I'm thinking, it's up to you what you do with it ;)
