Well that's what George told me Sunday night! One of my worst weeks ever, barely two days work at the end of the week. Well i'm knackered, haven't stopped for the last two days, picked up four gutter cleans, an end of rental clean, two new jobs and another full gutter/soffit clean to price - I'll be glad of a rest.

Good for you mate, you must be doing something right 8)
-
No advertising, canvassing or knocking it's just gone berserk lately, not that i'm complaining just didn't expect it.
-
barrr, humbug >:(
-
whew! i've not been that far ahead in about 4 years!
-
ive got loads to do
BUT
today i had a trip to the hostpital to see the hernia specialist , got home at 12.15 and thought, sod it, i got the VW campervan out and got to work, changed all 4 brake hoses ( took me 4 hours which isnt bad ) 150 - 175 quid saved from a garage bill ;D

hedonist.
I've got help now and it's not all plain sailing because i earn less but i think it's where you should head.
Those redash reels, when you strip them down the so called bearing is a nylon bush by the way.

I know what you mean Slump, but i'm way off having that much work for two. Employing scares the life out of me to be honest. I've got a full gutter/soffit clean first thing tomorrow. If they weren't such hard work i'm sure there would be a big market out there for total exterior cleans especially for those wanting to sell their homes but i'm not getting any younger and cleaning windows is relatively light work. Total cleans are just that - totally knackering.

I know what you mean , I have them every day this week ::)

i enjoy fascia soffit cleans more than window cleaning, i think there is less chance of error and it actually looks like you have done something and have earned your money!

The one I have in a mo, I'm charging £95. The guy is squirming trying to get the price down even offering to do the lowest gutters himself ::)
It's a four bed with gutters all round and that includes emptying.
-
I have a 2 bedder for that price to do today, be firm with the price you go in at.
Ionce told someone to go and buy their own ladder if they were going to question my pricing inthe manner they were. The look on his face was classic.

Just had my hernia done , doctors reckon a month off, i'd cleared 2wks free, then got a call from my biggest contract for an overnight internal clean , bloody hard work but v good money trying to delay but ????

Forget about him if he's trying to knock the price down. we usually charge £120 for a full upvc clean, and we have a few customers who have it donw every few months, they seem to think it's worth it! (and we're in the north!)

Yes ftp it is tireing, i probably would have done it for eighty, two and half hours, but i wouldn't want to do three together.

Turned out to be a bit of a nightmare in a way. The guy had been made redundant but wasn't short of a bob or two. He followed me all round the house even complaining when he could see a loose bristle on the fascia. Normally I would pressure wash the lot and be gone but I didn't think this guy would be too pleased if I shot off after a couple of hours. Took me three and a half (nearly an hour to vac) in the heat. Came up well I thought and picked them up for regular window clean. Got another tomorrow (the wifes boss) so I said i'd do them cheap - £60 the woman nearly fainted!Probably a days wages for some in there. Not good quoting people you know. I thought it was very cheap I just hope she doesn't blab the price to everyone else at Tescos. ::)
