How hot was this coffee? Please tell me it wasn't nigh on 99 degrees C
Don't over wet which could be why you said it is spreading.
Personally I would stick the hand tool in the middle of the stain and wet around the outside of that, so that the moisture is drawn into the middle.

::) Do you think it would be less stress to get the carpet fitters in.... ??? ???

is it best to dry out with cold air or hot............

it looks great when wet and then looks awful when dry.....perhaps a nice big rug off ebay would be a suggestion, glad i dont do carpet cleaning professionally.... :o :o :o

too much like hard work and stressful............

If the carpet is not too old and you are lucky enough to have the right pile for doing it, it is possible to cut out the offending area and replace with an off cut or from some location not normally seen. BTW get someone who knows what they are doing to do this!
Why not tell us where you are and possibly someone might pop along and get you out of the mess.
It's not stressful for us because we have nothing to lose ;)

That was fast delivery.

All that money wasted on a machine too as well.

The wonder foam does work better on cheap carpet.

my mother dragged it out from the back of her cupboard and i thought it was worth a try......

the carpet is 70--80% wool and was not a cheap one... but yes it works,...thank god,

will invest in my own £10 shampooer....ebay bargains....love it

thanks to all
