Going cheap at B&Q.....Might help some of you rainwater harvesters ;D
Reduced from £1498 to £50 :o :o :o :o :o

WOW! that has to be the deal of the century, even for a static storage container for ro producers.

I wonder if the pump is a high flow rate for filling vans?

Just order mine to replace the 2x 210lt barrels I use for rain water havesting at the moment

Im sure theyre great for storing water but B+Q made an error of judgement with the British PUblic stocking these things. No-one REALLY wants to dig their garden up to save a few litres of water when theres 210 litre butts available, unless your a window-cleaner of course.

I see they come with a pump, filter and diverter too. Nice loss being made on these no doubt.


Could be fun getting them round the back of properties, bearing in mind the size, have to roll it Id imagine.


You could always cut the top half off and have a ready made swimming pool  :D


Post some pics when you got the machine in to do the digging.

Could be fun.

Had a look at this earlier this morning, Link not working now ???

Me thinks it should have been £500 not £50. I was thinking of getting 1 or two and sticking them on ebay ;D

Is the link working for anyone else?

Got a letter from B&Q today saying that they are no longer in stock and they will not be getting anymore and that my money has been refunded to my credit card.

why? because they sold discontinued stock at a reduced price, and sold out fast?

Looks like they dropped Boll@ck and now trying to get out of it. You do have the text from this forum to back you up if you suspect they are try to get out of it.
