Just need a mini-turbine to sit in the flow of my ro unit that runs day and night.  ;D

What about fitting a wheel at the top of your water storage.... as the water comes out of the pipe and drops down it could turn a wheel and produce E lec Tricity !

depends on wattage what about a 12v battery and inverter and a solar battery charger from Maplins

I've got a wind up lamp for camping.  It would also do for emergency use.  Gives about 20 - 30 minutes of light (depending on brightness setting) for 5 minutes winding.  It can also be charged by cigarette lighter socket.

extension lead from the neighbours garage is always good.
