Title: baseball caps
Post by: mr D on June 17, 2009, 09:44:02 pm
guys this is the beginning of my 2nd year WFP and I've found a tool that no one told me about that I think is essential.

baseball caps!!

a few weeks ago I put an order in for new work shirts/hoodies and for a laugh i got a baseball cap with company logo knocked up too. After all it was only £3 odd.

I know think its a god send. it blocks the sun form my eyes with out making every thing dark like shades do.

how many of you guys where them and if you dont you really have got to give it a go. I can recommend a seller if you like.

yep! although a bit chavvy, if positioned right it stops the glare and reduces the squinting, if doing windows in alley ways stops water going in your eyes and stops your hair getting wet, if youve got any!

If your a baldy like me , it will reduce the chances of skin cancer  ;D

nice link and well found, most of the companies I have looked at have been nearly double this just for t-shirts, let alone polo shirts advertised by this seller

Alex does, especially if it's raining!  Word of warning though for the ladies of the house - watch out for 'hat hair' when your man comes home.

Another tip is to order half a dozen. I get mine from a local company, 6 quid each. Good quality but sweat soon soaks through & they turn all salty!!! :D

I wear one of them over Paignton when I'm up on some high roofs where seaguls are nesting. Have to fend off the birds from attacking me with my wfpole from time to time. Every now and then there is a big culling on the seagulls around here as it can be quite dangerous when the seagulls dive bomb at you, hence a hard hat at times. It's essential at times.

really reminds me of a time when a new lad was working and got on to a penthouse balcony then the gulls started dive bombing him. he was scared stiff and started banging on the windows shouting "let me in you barstools I'm being attacked" we were rolling up!!

back to the subject of caps seriously guys cap's with work logos look really professional but sport teams are a BIG no no. you might as well where a shell suit to work.
