Title: Have you ever been asked to clean one of these ?
Post by: russ_clark on June 17, 2009, 08:44:11 pm
Sorry No Pics
(camera batteries knacked)
It is a very large INFLATABLE swimming pool cover
No I'm not joking-went to see it today!
It is in a very nice area -big house and big pool
It basically inflates via a generator when the owners want to cover the pool.
It is made of clear plastic (pretty thick)
The owner was not there or he would have inflated it for me to see.
He reckons he has had it previously cleaned with garden hosepipe
and rotating brushes on poles by some non-window cleaning muscle.
What do you think?
He wants the house windows cleaned regularly too.
Would you take this job on?? ::)

When I say INFLATABLE
It goes up like a large bubble
Can you picture it now ?
Do you not think a sharpish point or say a metal jet could puncture it - lol
Yes if I take it on I will get a disclaimer signed

I don't think you zip it up for sun protection
I did see a couple of zipped in doors.
Think the idea is that it can be used all year round.
