so i finished the house and the conserv
i felt embarrassed when i knocked to collect the money
-
similar thing happened to me the other day, started the house then the heavens opened. I had started so i was gona finish it, threw on the coat but still got soaked through.
a mile down the road the ground was dry! just my lucky day!
-
we all have bill to pay so dont worry . you could clean them and the sun out then rain later . i clean window in the rain thay will still be cleaner then not doing them
-
i was rain of today as it was really bad, looked out my window, and there was a team of 8 landscape gardiners all cutting the grass in heavy rain with yellow raincoats on, no one blinks an eye about them, ???
-
Yer its been terrible down south today, the reflection of the sun from the windows was blinding, wish there was a bit of cloud, got a burnt nose too ;D
-
Chris did you get that email I sent yesterday?
Matt

My customers think more of me if I clean in the rain, it shows I'm dedicated and will never let them down. I usually get massive tips if it's really lashing it down. I do a perfect job too every time - I've never seen any spotting whatsoever although when the lightning flares up I can sometimes see a smear as the glass glints.
You are just a cowboy if you don't clean in all weathers in my opinion.

I was rained off and went fishing instead, i was absolutely soaked to the bone, came home at 11am to do some quotes and seen a lad round the corner from me in shorts cleaning windows, and it was torrential rain, pointless, trad he was doing as well :)
His custies are gonna be pee'd

I'm a cowboy, got the hat to prove it. And I clean in the rain.
If you feel embarassed about asking for the money. Then don't. Tell 'em you'll be back Friday to see if they're happy. I been paid every time!

If you're really worried about knocking for the money after you've cleaned in the rain, just say 'Don't worry, they will dry perfectly clean. Have a good look at them when they dry up, and if you can see any marks on them, I'll come back and do them again'
I've never been called back, but it's nice to be able to show such confidence in your work, and it keeps the custie sweet.

I clean in the rain, but when it starts coming down like a waterfall then I will call it a day.

I work through the rain all the time. I tell the customers the rain helps rinse the windows!
