Post by: luther1 on June 17, 2009, 04:00:18 pm
Is it just happening to me or am i constantly re-connecting my pole. Virtually every other time i pull my hose/pole and they come undone. Is there an alternative or is this the norm,it just seems to be happening alot lately.Btw,i have replaced both parts and it keeps on happening! >:(

Have you fitted a protecta ball or something similar to the pole hose side?  When these connectors are new they can accidentally undo very easily.  A protecta ball on the pole hose side will prevent this from happening when pulling along the ground, etc.

I took my balls off 'cos they seemed to catch on everything. Now my connector dis-connects instead. So, Alex is right the balls do help.

I had that with easy snap connectors with them coming apart and they didn't last 5 minutes so went back to the pro connectors so much better i think.
