I was wanding a very dirty carpet today with my beloved TM and steam was bellowing from the sides of the wand and I thought to myself, I wonder what the hottest porti is? now I know it may sound like a TM vs porti debate but what else is ther to do of a night when there isn't any football to watch?
My guess will be the the Ninja with V2 steam mate but there are other contenders and also how long do they stay hot for?

Any porti with a Little Giant cart system truckmount heat all the time
-
I guess you are right but was thinking a more all one system, not seen the little giant in this country where do you get those from?
Idle curiosity as I have a heat exchanger on my TM.

Not had alot of experience with it so far as I only got it a few weeks ago but the powerflite perfect heat produces good consistent heat, looks impressive as well with the steam that comes from the wand.

The trigger on my cfr tool was popping with the heat my Ninja was producing today. I had the in tank heater to heat the water while prespraying etc. I then switched over to the internal inline heater when cleaning. I think this is hotter than my TM when using a handtool.

I know that some don't believe that heat is needed but I'm not one of them, when I was cleaning a carpet today the dirt just came off so easy with very little effort my thinking was 'do I really need all of this suction?' I'd love a porti that would easily do 150 ft of hose and heat that steams at the wand.

PS and runs off 1 plug ;D

I have 2 ningas 400 psi, one with inline heater and the other with inline heater with a built in v2, and this blows the socks of, stays v hot all the time, and is my every day cleaner.

Is that a 2 cords?

I've twiddled with my ninja, hottest tank temp. I've run it at is 92 degrees, which down 25ft into a 2-jet wand creates a bit of a sauna in a cold lounge :D Screws the pump if you use it too much like that though :)
-
Most pumps are rated at 60 max.

Prowler, must be the hottest porty. :)

Never been on a job where I needed 150ft of hose, guess that's why there called porty's. ;D

me too lot of my work it would be a h/s issue with too much hose 75 is the most i have run too and my powerflite was fine at that line
-
Most houses, even modern 4 beds, all you will need is 75' max.
Did a older large house few months ago where I used 150' on the TM. More like a small hotel then a house, but it was their home.

devon farm house are sometimes aprob sometimes called devon long house in the older ones you have to walk through each bedroom to get to another but normally no carpet downstairs flagstones is the norm so you can pull up the porty at the bottom of the stairs
-
Joe your right on that max hose in most houses as thats the max i use and have some more just in case as back up :)
Worked in one of those richard and its a right job with all them twist and turns to get to other rooms ::)
-
the only plus side is there is normally a sink in each room. apart from that they are a pig
