Matt your posty must be earlier then mine as I recieved the exact same items as you except my letter said Dear Chris and Not Dear Matt ;D Going back to out now and going to write all my windows done slips with my new penn, think we should do a thread in a few weeks to see how long the pens last or ink runs out etc ;D
-
How heavy is that pen and what height does it reach
i have done lots of research on the net about pens but that pen seems to stand head and shoulders above some overpriced ones that promise lots and dont deliver
I would apprieciate some feedback on what its like to work with that pen
-
All I can say at this moment in time is that its a mighty fine pen, as pens go.

I was hoping my pen would last a couple of years but it's wearing out quite fast. I think I might have to get the top section replaced soon. Still, it is very light :P
-
is yours the push or twist version.
-
i,ve never had a free pen?
-
Sorry Herbie but some of us are just a little bit more special then others ;D , the reason we got one is because gardiners got our address form our websites.

You dont have to be living abroad to be left out! I live here in oxfordshire (fair enough, I'm an Irishman) and bought a SL2, loads of consumables and 3 or 4 Xtel poles and still got nowt! Mind you, I can't really complain cos the girls in the office have lovely friendly English accents and they always brighten my day!!
-
Im gutted,

Brand New Gardiners Pen and key ring set, one careful owner....£35.00 lol ;D ;)
-
No one has stated the obvious health and safety concerns that carribiner just isnt man enough to cope with that pen surely it needs more than that im off to order a proper pen from ionics and it will be hot too fools the lot of you ;)
-
I didn't get one with my SLX in March or with my Ecover and from last week.
Why does it irk me a little? Cuz I'm a saddo!
-
Can I join in ;D
Save the pen, clip, envelope, postage, manpower etc and knock £10 off my next order please ;D
-
I'll swap a days usage of a 40' omnipole Neil for a keyring and pen for a day ;D

ALEX!! I need another key-ring and pen, so Neil can lend me his Omnipole ;D
-
I didn't get a pen :'(
Mind you it does look like one of those ones for people with arthritis, I suppose that's because we're all getting it now due to pole repetitive strain
-
Right well - we seem to have unleashed something a little scary here so.....
If you really feel that your life would be a better and brighter place with a pen or a carabiner in it please email me at kirsty@gardinerpolesystems.co.uk with your full name and address and I will do my very best to put right the gross injustice that has resulted in some of you being overlooked in this shameful way.
Kirsty ;)
-
;D ;D ;D kirsty do not tell me that everyone has gone shy on you ;D ;D ;D
-
I was sent a lovely purple carabiner a couple of orders ago. Offered to pay for it thinking it was sent by mistake and got a note though the post saying it was a freebie. I was very pleased!
If you ever run out (which let's face it, you will as now you've opened the floodgates) may I suggest that packets of that exploding fizzy bubblegum would be a nice alternative treat ;-)

-
Yep that sounds great...I bought a SL-X last year so can I have a free one this year...?
Thanks
Dave :P
-
Buy one get one free? I think Kirtys reply would be B.O.G.O.F. (f)

I've been using a universal plastic BIC pen for the last couple of years now and find it works pretty well, especially on 1st cleans. It's perfect for getting at those cobwebs in the corners. I've changed the nib to a superlight, and the difference in weight is amazing. No more worn-out fingers at the end of the day for me!! I'm hoping to upgrade to a Gardiners telescopic super-pen in the future but lets face it, it's unlikely i'll ever be able to afford one.
-
they are having problems with them coming in, the clamps on the early pens were hard to adjust, and there have been health and safety issues with people chewing on carbon fibre and fibreglass pen tops.A few lads have gone back to plastic.
However, as you point out, if you need to write on a post- it note attached to a window above a conservatory roof then gardiners lead the world.
