Title: Pro 5 problem

Connected the water up tonight to fill clicked the fill button on the controller unit and nothing, any ideas :'(

all pipes connected
water connected up fine
battery fine
vari flo controller working (same box as the fill button)

One of my mates has got the pro7 system and he has had the same problem, it ended up being the soleniod and he had to go to ionic's to have it replaced with a new one.
But not sure if this is your problem? Best give ionics a call in the morning. ;)

Pure .   ..........put the fill switch on first then connect the water as the solenoid will stick  I hope that sorts it Edd
the pressure that's in the hose that's on first can and will hold the solenoid shut sometimes well mine does !!

All the suppliers sell the solenoid,

 first thing to do is to test the supply with a multimeter.

Also test the float switch, by pass it if neccessery,

Cheers guy's i  i've found the problem, (solenoid) had a problem with it before so orderd a new one from Ionics this morning, deliverd tomorrow.

Thanks also to P@F ::), as i took the system apart myself, orderd the part myself and will fit the part myself i must have a DIY system :-*

Also lovley day day here in Worcester so taking the wife out to lunch, Brown's down by the river i think ;D

Job done, tank filling as we speak. New solenoid £80.00inc vat & delivery. Should catch up with my work by Monday (weather permitting) could have been worse, could have had to get the ladders out again ;D
