Post by: Ryan Smyth on June 15, 2009, 08:55:28 pm
For some reason on my spitfire there is no chemical flow, none at all :(
Iv checked the hoses, the flowmeter,iv took off the venturi and cleaned it,cleaned the valve at the end of the chemical feed hose and now my head is about to explode....any ideas??

try holding your hand, or something that wont get sucked into the waste tank, for a few seconds over the vac hose while it is on 'prime', that should pull any air through the system, once you see the bubbles clear through the site glass it should be ok, i do this regularly, after each new job,

Descale the system might do it.

take the little non return valve off of the end of the pick up hose that goes into the bottle, probably the ball bearing is stuck shut.
