Title: van signage!
Post by: C.C.S. on June 15, 2009, 04:47:03 pm
hi just a thought on signing my van.had  a quote from a company and received a proof today.and i reckon it looks quite good.i just wanted a second opinion.
i have been quoted 69 for the vinyls and could have fit it  my self if i wanted but for £40 extra i don't see the point.thanks

Why have they made the 2 sides different styles with regards to the telephone numbers, id have landline and mobile number next to each other so one under the web address and the other next to it.

Because of the shape of the van panels! Other side has a sliding door.

I always think that your van has at best a few seconds to get your message across before its gone.

I believe in BIG and BOLD and 'in yer face'

Your name, what you do and how to contact you in as few words as possible but presented in a way that SHOUTS at people.

One second your van's there, the next it's gone - if no-one can read or remember your message in the time then its a total waste.

Unless you're just going to park up at the nearest supermarket all day so people get all the time they need to read it.

I know thats why its like that but why did they do it when there is a nice big space under the handles, cant believe a professional sin writting company would do that, its ment to be the same both sides.

no direspect, you can tell you did that yourself, few bubbles...like an aero!

re the original post, thats cheap, weeding all that lot would take a good hour or two alone!

(weeding is plucking the bits out of the letters you dont need, like the small o in an O, takes ages, trust me!!)

don't worry if it is slightly different on one side to the other as who can read both sides at once ?
mine is slightly different on one side to the other due to petrol cap and no one has noticed!
