Hey Fellas,
I'm seriously thinking of adding a Mitsibishu L200 to my fleet :) Does anyone know whats the maximum amount I can carry or fit in without a cover?
How about a 500l skid tank?
All I need to carry in the back is a reel, pump box, pole and trad stuff!

Just over a tonne I think. But the space isnt that great :-\

Hey JCS,
Thanks for that mate! What size tank is that? I need about 500/600 in a new shap double cab.
-
How about a custom 500l under a flat cover? I could get the trad stuff and pole in the rear cab.
Also does anyone know if its safe to just strap these tanks down in a pickup like the advantage you get with a trailer?

Just curious, maybe a strange question, but why would you ever go for a similar vehicle over a van? I can think of a lot of reasons why a van is more practical. :)

For me, as i till want one is the fact its like a car, great for the family and still can carry same amount of water as a small van.

To use this type of vehicle for WFP you need to have a custom made tank really, this guy Neil at www.plasticwatertanks.co.uk makes and fits them all the time and really know`s his stuff he will allow holes for DI`s-pumps-batterys etc so it all fits in neat and tidy.

I would imagine it would be prone to freezing in winter without a cover. No heating with a cover either?
