try 5k for the full set up ;)
-
if you can afford it buy the whole package, it will save you a lot of time in the future. i bought the vac and camera system only. but you soon find out you need the powerpole, power washer, gutter spike etc.
-
I am sorely tempted to get the ful kit but i am a little uncertain as to how to market it ... as a add to a window cleaning round...stand alone operation ...sub contractor work or even referrals from window cleaners foe a % of the job ???

add it to your window cleaning round if you have one. price it cheap for your window custies. then clean them on a saturday when most people are at home, i will promise you will pick up more work. and do speak to window cleaners like you said just make sure you price the job up and not them.

just make sure you have the room to cart it all around. its been a bit tough for us but i have another van coming soon so it will be big enough to carry everything

does that mean that you have sufficent work for the van to work independently of your WC rounds
-
had to install a new wfp system so i could fit the lot in a transit swb van,
-
i have a fiat doblo van for wfp. gutter gear all fits in a box trailer, just hook it up when i need it.
-
reckon ye could make one for half the price of basic model.
industrial Vac bout 300 quid with decent motors. All ye need then is a pole, hose, attachments and generator
-
Do a search on here. You can make your own easily and upset everyone in the process. ;D
I use a trailer to cart the lot around but it's an aweful lot of kit for such a simple task. Hoses, extension leads, pressure washer hoses, vacuum hoses lances, extension hoses all catch on everything on residential work - it's a horrible job sometimes.
-
By the way, why don't Omnipole publish their prices anymore?
-
i was waiting for the diy guys to put there oar in. ;D yes you can build it cheaper but for me i like it to work straight out the box. whichever way you do it i think its a great thing to add on to your window cleaning round. yes its a lot of kit but there is lots of extra work you can do as well.not just gutters. but external building cleaning. pathways, if you buy the camera system you dont only have to survey gutters!. i do camera work for builders, my local swimming pool, all sorts

it is not all on there yet, the wfp system is, the rest will be this week, then taken out at night, having ramps built for it and should have them tomorrow, fingers crossed. I will do a pic as soon as.

You going to shift that genny in and out every time? :o

not everytime no, at night yes, and some jobs I will have to.

Best book the chiropractor now I reckon. ;)

hence why I am having ramps built for it, sod trying to lift it.
-
I reckon you'll need a winch :o
Have you tried shifting it on your own yet?
-
My Loncin will be heavier than a Honda but I could just lift it two feet up into my trailer with some leverage. It's been there ever since and won't be coming out again. ;D
There's no way I'd want to wheel that into my van and back.

yeah I have been off for nearly a week as ripped a muscle in my leg lol, its 6kva with wheel kit and weighes a ton. did think of a winch, but ramps hopefully will work, I do not have a trailor at the mo
-
i was going to use ramps and mount a winch inside the van to pull geni in and out, i had a trailer b4 which does come in handy but you cant take it round with you all the time and parking with it is a pain as you cant see the trailer in the mirrors at all, i have mine in the back of the van and havent needed to take it out yet and have run it off 80m of extension cable with no problems
