A while back you may remember that I told you about two of my custies who had "fallen out" with each other. As they are in adjoining properties I would wfp some windows on each house from the same spot standing in one of their gardens.
Anyhoooo .... lady comes out and says she doesn't want me doing their windows (jerking thumb at neighbours house) from her garden and now more than ever "cuz 'ees a sex offender!"
I roll my eyes and comply and do the rest of the neighbours house from his garden.
As I work he comes out and gets on his motorbike and pays me.
Me: Nice day for a bike ride ...
Him: Not really, I'm off down the Probation Office.
Me: Oh, ok .... seeya ...
Anyway type "Alan Edwards sex offender Bristol" into your search engine ...
You couldn't make it up - turns out the old girl was right all along!

I suppose that technically he wasn't a sex offender as it looks like he was found not guilty due to temporary insanity. Not sure I would feel comfortable about doing business with him though.
I would also be concerned about someone with a current mental health issue doing jury service.

the guy is ill it would seem. being unwell with mentally ill problems is not nice.

It's wrong what he done but if he pays on time why not continue cleaning his windows,I have alot of respectable customers but I still have to chase them for payment,for all you lot know you are probobly cleaning customers windows that done alot worse than this guy but it's not out in the open,it's just that this guy was caught,there is alot more sex abusers out there that you don't know about,maybe only 20% of them are named and shamed,its all great people on here telling other people what to do,let him decide for himself,at the end of the day it's his buisness.

That's why he only has to sign on the sex offenders register for five years. At least he is known in the area now.
I wasn't thinking of dumping him - I don't see him as a personal threat - and yes it is strange that he tried to get himself excused from a paedo case only to be put on a sexual assault case. His wife is as nice as pie. And they are perfect custies too.
But I certainly won't take my daughter to help me to clean their windows in the school holidays!

Vigilanteism hmm.
Remember the mob that gathered around that man's house because he was a paediatrician (a childrens doctor) but the sun-reading idiot scum who formed the mob were too thick to know to know the difference. Poor bloke had to move house for nothing.
Anyway, we dont need vigilanteeism, thats why we have a court system.

I understand your strong feelings but the court did excuse him - a jury of 7 men and 5 women unanimously accepted that he was "temporarily insane" and the court while acknowledging he admitted committing the acts he was accused of found him "not guilty" because of this.
However he was sentenced to a 12 month supervision order and he was placed on the sex offenders register for five years. He is to continue taking his medication, and his wife is standing by him.
I have no other personal knowledge of the case to reach a more informed conclusion myself. But I do note that he asked to be excused from a paedo case as a juror only to be put on a sexual assault case. So in my view he tried to inform the authorities of his incapacity to serve. When you are a juror it is a legal obligation to serve and you can only ask to be excused.
If it was my wife or relative or friend or a child that was assaulted I would no longer clean his windows and I would feel like taking the law into my own hands - I do not have that motive impelling me.
You say this is sick that this is posted at all - why? I am simply telling the forum members of my experience. You also say he should not be a customer - well I considered that but as I do not believe him to be a threat to me I see no reason to drop him. Do I penalise his wife because she chooses to stay with him? She may be unwise but that's her call.
And your comment about me making a mock is completely wrong - I simply state and mean that on the occasions I take my teenage daughter window cleaning I would not do his house with her. There is no "smiley" or "grin" in my post to indicate that I am making light of it.

if you didnt clean windows in houses where the people were iffy you would realy narrow
the field down; where would you stop ? cant do your windows your a muslim ?
or cant do yours bnp fanatic ? if he pays on time thats all i ask if gordon cant be botherd
to give them their just deserts not my prob.

i get a bit botherd by judging some one look at the news of the world;
a few years ago printed a pic of a peado in a neck brace next min a mob beats up an
inocent man going about his bis. like i say those in power cant be botherd it would affect
the crims human rights.
