personally I would go for the tried and tested poles that are available and recommended by the guys on this site. Gardiners is a good place to look!
One thing that does put my off that pole is that the clamps look fiddly and also prone to get damaged as they stick out too much. just imagine trying to put it/taking it out of  your van without damaging it!
