Title: How many send letters

Who sends out letters to generate work, i have tried in the past without success but only sent about 50 i realise thats no where near enough. But thought i would give it another go.

If someones got a letter thats gets the phone ringing , i would appreciate seeing it please    Paul

paul they do work in small numbers. but only target and hand deliver.to local independant offices or shops. ;D

We do it regularly and it works very well.

We send a few hundred out to all the holiday properties in the area every year, also cover pubs, clubs and hotels.

Got most of the addresses on database and just use mail merge to generate the letters.

Get a reasonable response, always include a business card with every correspondance, people will throw away letters but tend to put business cards into holders for later reference.

Sent 40 letters  which ain't alot i know but i got a quote from it , didnt get the job but a least it was a response.     Paul

I like that idea :)

When i leave a customers house after a job, i leave an NCCA leaflet. plus my own leaflet and business a card plus 4 other business cards, a Sparky, a Plumber, a Domestic cleaning company, and a Decorator.

I know all of these people, and they are all very good, we all do the same for each other and it works well for all of us :) :)
