Title: Di bypass connectors & valves
Post by: The Seven Bays Window Cleaning Company on June 08, 2009, 03:44:28 pm
I would to have the option to run unfiltered water from my tank for Conservatory roofs, gutters ect.

Is there anything on the market that would allow this?

Basically I think I need 2 x 'Y' Piece 1/2inch  barbed connectors, and 2 x On/Off Valves again with a 1/2inch barbed connection.

I've had a nose around the net, and couldn't find anything suitable.

Thanks

Marc

I tried these, they're OK but not perfect when under pressure.

Just buy a long length of pole hose with hoselock adapter on the end so you can plug into there outside tap.

What sort of connector goes into the 1st DI cylinder?
Can't you just buy the male/female opposite, disconnect the fitting and couple up straight to your hose from the tank.

If the con. roof is green or something I tend to give it a blast using the custy's tap water first, then use purified to rinse. Does a fine job.
