Im in hertfordshire, but my girlfriend lives in north london, I'm going to door knock the area next week, apparently she has never seen a window cleaner around any of her local estate.

So in answer, there is always room lol.

If your meaning north london is bad, some area's are not.
I know the area i'm going is not, rather the opposite. not manor house/hackney lol.

I done the girlfriends parents house, and had two of the neighbours ask me if I would do theres.

i just don't have a car. to begin domestic cleaning i need a car to carry ladder, water, equipment. i am trying to decide if it is worth spending money on a car.  cleaning shops is impossible, because no mather how big london is, every shop is already occupied.

Makes sense to buy a car of some sort, or you are limited to how far you can walk with a ladder. What ever happens you will have to invest money to get tooled up and able to earn. Are you already cleaning some custies, or are you just thinking about starting a round?

Will you be part time at first or would you buy a round? Sorry, maybe I've missed the point here.

There will always be a bit of work around, but often it will be work others don't want. Like whingers or bad payers.
You will get what you need, but it will take time to build up a round

And of course you're not the only person who has thought 'I know i'll set up as a window cleaner.'
Ask yourself why lots of them give up within 6 months? It doesn't suit everyone.
