I drink spring water but I know its been tested by the water board, stream water even from mountains can contain stuff that will make you seriously  ill. But you could run it though an RO to make it potable to drink but with that high a tds your gonna use a lot og RO filters.

Cheers  ;D if he drank water that had the remains of a decomposing animal in he'd be the fool then.

Some people just cant see the nose in front of their face. Still, their loss  ;)

A few weeks ago i did some training for my other job which involved 2 days training in the river trent after i finished i was ill for five days with severe vomiting and diarrhoea and lost nearly a stone in weight. I think there were 15 of us on the course and 8 of us were ill. You could drink river water but i dont recomend it.

Talking of dirty water - I replaced the delivery hose from my static tank yesterday and the old hose was slimy and stunk, there's no way I would consider drinking the 'pure' water from my tanks

I now supply them, as I saw a market long ago due to reading about some naked guy in a field and sheep in a corner not looking to happy, I just cant remember if it was wales or yorkshire, but that said I can suppy you a pair they even have sheep charmers on them, there is a disclaimer on them, that we take no resposibiliy when you wear them, as personal choice can as I have found be very strange  ;D
