Title: Pump to fill a van

I will have 800L of RO'd water stored in my back garden. In the morning I want to pump it through my mid-terrace house into my van parked in the street.

Question: what kind of pump should I use: a bilge pump or an inline pump? Would a bilge pump be too noisy in the garden? Alternatively, would an inline pump located in the house work ok--the kind used to feed water through the poles?

should come with a pump...if you buy the whole tank and RO system......ours does

I use a sump pump(bilg pump) to pump my water about 30 mtrs to the van, takes 5 to 10 minutes 300 to 500 ltrs.
I think an in line pump would take a long time??
I use a cheap and chearful sump pump from screwfix not very noisy (can hardly hear it) it has lasted about 6 months so far no problems.
Andrews water does a very nice stainless steel pump the kind that last for every.

 you could use a submersible puddle pump, some of them are very powerful and can move alot of water.

How long would that hand cranked pump take till empty a 25ltr container.
That sounds handy for filling my trolley up.

Got to be better than lifting the water containers inside my little van.
I thought it was a fishing reel when i first see it

 235 litre a minute pump
The cost is £120.00  for the pump and £57.00 for 100' (30 metres) of reinforced 1" hose

Submersible pump 235 LITRES A MINUTE!!!! :o :o

4.25 minutes to fill up a 1000 litre tank :-\

Quickness would be great. I am now looking at the stainless steel submersable pump from screwfix ("order" no 71885-77, p.558 spring 2005 catalogue). Anyone got this? Unfortunately they are not able to tell me how big it is! My IBC tank will accept 5.5 diameter entry point (cap).
