Title: pump wont stop pumping ?

got a 100 psi shurflow hooked up to a digital vaiistream and today the pump just wont stop pumping although i can still work its a nightmare on my hose as it just filling and filling, question is, does anyone know of a test to see which one is not working or could it be the swith on the bottom of the pump needs changing?

Have you disconnected the pressure switch.

i did but to be honest i didnt know what to do next??? couple of plastic bits and a spring, bit of a poke here and a blow and i put it all back together, is there something specific to do ?

Disconnecting the pressure switch is not taking it apart mate, its just not connecting them 2 wires to it, just the ones off the pump.

Sounds like you could do with setting up the varistream. Turn it on, un couple the hose so the pressure can build, press and hold the + & - buttons and the display will change, again press and hold the + & - buttons and it will flash, have a little play until it turns off, you have from a, b, c, d, e, f, and 1 - 10 i think.

Its just a setting to work out what pressure to turn off at as we all use different hoses connection etc, hope this help mate.

Lol yeah you didn`t need to take it apart you just cut the wire off,sounds like you didn`t put it together right.

I was going to tell you what lwc did which is the correct solution. However you will not 'play' with it, you depress the minus button untill the pump switches off in a reasonable time
