Are these the wooden ones. Or the Metal ones.

If they are metal you can soak them in a bath. 40 minutes with soap, fairy liquid does it.

Then unfortunately wipe each slat with a clothe, or tumble drying sheet. (tumble drying sheet helps repel dust)

People use many techniques,

Brushes, socks, but if you want a real result then the above is best if not outsourcing.
Alternatively get a quotation from an ultrasonic cleaning company and charge for the labour in taking and putting back up.

hi there,

the best way is to have them ultrasonically cleaned, i would look at getting a quote to do that, for you to take down 50 or 60 blinds, and then clean them all will take a good length of time.

In my experience its not quite the hardest cleaning job in the world but its in the top (or bottom) 5.

You will be forever wiping the slats, turn them over and do the other side, turn over again and some of the muck has gone on the other side again, and again etc etc.

As above the ultrasonic way is best. They use it on fire restoration, they put all your smoke damaged crockery in a tray dip it and hey presto brand new sparkly pots and crocks etc etc.

how much did you price per blind in the end? i will have to price tomorrow at 1pm for cleaning a small offices blinds and windows once a month but i'm sure i'll be under pricing myself. I am thinking 30 minutes for every window and 1 blind, coming to at least £7 per set. does that seem right?
