How much does everyone charge for upvc frame cleaning - on top of the window price?
I've recently taken on a new round and a few of my new customers have asked me to mint their frames as a one off.
Most of the houses are 3 bed semis.
Thanks

Its included in the window cleaning price on every clean.
Otherwise charge time taken.
-
double the price for the first time if its including all the frames, it'll prob take twice as long to clean

Frames are part of the window like sills ,for people who only clean the glass are classed as COWBOYS in my opinion, why on earth would someone clean the glass and not the frames ??? ::) ::) ::) ::) ???

Depends what the customer wants.
I provide a glass only service if they dont want the frames done, for example they have wooden frames.

I do all frames as standard and use that in my quote to the customer, providing the best possible service with no hidden charges and I make it my business to tell customer that any window cleaner not cleaning the frames is not providing the best possible service.
after all to clean the frames on a house takes just a couple of mins more so why not because when customer see's what you have done they recommend you to other people.

does abilol mean clean the frames as in a normal clean which i do as standard or does abilol mean clean as upvc clean with the proper upvc cleaning products ?

Laurie,
When I canvassed my work I charged a one off first clean price that included getting frames spot on,
then dropped the price and carefully maintained them.
In your case mate just soak a microwipe, given them a wipe over and add a tenner to the price.
Working alone this would keep your customers happy and you would up your hourly rate anyway.
Cya monday mate,
Dean

i always give frames and sills a wipe down after clean but this woman was asking how much to mint them up to look like new again i have just taken round over and they look like fairly old windows and frame so i what i meant to say was how much would you charge to bring plastics looking new again with pcv cleaner

£2-£5 per frame depending on area and condition of frame

In my opinion anyone who charges more for the first clean is ripping off the customer. The first visit to the house is really the only time you actually clean the windows, the rest of the time you're simply keeping them clean.
I charge the same for every clean, and the frames and sills are included in the price.
