I have put my fsc in the shed as well. You can`t beat a turbo nozzle.I found i was going over every job with the turbo anyway so might as well get stuck right in,plus you can direct the crap to were you want it.
-
good idea dan, have you seen the double turbos on sweep fast, jesus man does the job twice as quick. www.sweepfast.com

Getting one, could of used that the weekend cleaning 1100 sq metres of block, took 2.5 days.

thats where i got mine.

anyone else using the double turbo nozzle from sweep fast? sounds amazing!!!
-
having 2 turbo nozzles doesn't give twice the power it just means the power you have is divided between the 2 nozzles so each one will only have half the power, it you have a massive pump with tons of surplus power then it will work, but a 13hp 3500psi machine won't benefit from a twin lance

i think you are wrong you can maintain the same psi using two nozzles but the flow of water from each nozzle is reduced by half for example my machine produces 21ltr a minute at 3000psi using an 07 nozzle, but by using two 03 nozzles each one will still produce 3000psi but the water flow from each gun will be reduced to just over 10 litres, when pressure washing a large flow is handy for swilling debris away but a smaller water flow doesnt reduce the actual cleaning power which is the psi amount
-
how doesa the twin turbo work as usually it gives a cone affect from one turbo but two together must hit each other?? ??? ??? :-X
-
also can you use hot water from a turbo and if so what are the benefits?
-
give sweepfast a ring and ask him . he is a great guy and has always helped me out before .
-
Sweepfast are out of stock of the heavy duty turbo nozzles. :(

I asked merril fox about sending me a double unit and he said they are a waste of time and you will lose pressure, single unit is best and i would be wasting my money, give him his due he could of took my money..Does anyone want to buy a 20 inch whirlaway?
-
As Trevor said you can maintain pressure by useing 2 turbo nozzles of half the oriface one would have. You still get the full flow of water onto the work it's just delivered by 2 nozzles (half full flow each) instead of one
Just in the same way a two nozzle whurlaway is set up. Single lance say would be 04 oriface then 2 nozzles would have to be 02 to maintain lpm and pressure.
You can't just fit 2 x turbo nozzles matched for single nozzle use, that would half your pressure.
Does all that make sence or do I need the nurse again!
-
I'm with drive washer - the theory is correct. As for a double turbo, it may cover the ground better but who knows unless you do a back to back test for yourself. It may well be a gimick.
-
dan why are you selling it? how much? has it been regulary cleaned and greased? i got mine from merril too!!
-
dan mail me!!
-
I`m selling it because i have used it about 10 times and gone over every job with the turbo,i just thought why waste time and space, just get right in with turbo,i`ve changed the nozzles to get more power, angled them correctly, lowered the bar and had presure tested,it is brand new,i will sell it for half price,it`s lieing in the shed.I`m in Liverpool, anyone who wants one here it is,bargain cos i got it when the dollar rate was about 2 dollars to the pound.
-
give me your email??
-
will give you cash asap!

regarding those whirlaways - are they no use? i take it those are the floor scrubbers with the rotating heads
