Do they need to be full up or will a half filled one get me out of trouble ? tds has gone up to 5 and I haven't got enough resin ::)
-
normaly i fill mine 3 quarters fill, half should get you through your work until your new bag arrives did you shake the vessel, that should bring it down to 000 for a few days try that out
-
Ok thanks will try that first then, I know I overfilled it first time round if I hadn't I'd have had enough this time round I think if that makes any sense ;D
-
yes give it a really good shake, then test it with tds meter, i bet it stays 000, does for me
-
to be honest though
005 is just fine to use
-
Well guess you don't know unless you try I put the old resin in a big brewing bucket "just in case" then put about 7ltrs of resin in a 18 ltr vessel tds is down to 000, will get some resin on order though and keep an eye on things. Thanks for your replies, Matt I know I'm just to fussy ;)

half full virgin would be better than expired resin.
-
if you dont shake it you will never know, ;D iv given my advice, sometimes it will give you more than a weeks extra work, depends on how low your tds is, the lower the better ;D

Matt, I used to think that until last saturday. It was a hot day and I was cleaning with 5 water. I went back to check one and it was quite spotted. I think I will change from now on when it starts to rise, at about 1 or 2.
