When you find out that someone charges more for window cleaning than you do, what objections do you have?
Some on here seem to be unhappy with those who promote high prices.
I know a lot is just talk but there is genuinely a difference in prices charged.
I get quite unhappy when I find anyone who charges more, I like to be the most expensive in my area.

so put your prices up then and stop moaning ;D ;D ;D

I am not concerned at all what prices other w/c's charge.
I look to charge what I feel is a fair price for myself and for the customer. If anyone comes along charging more (or less) I don't worry about it in the slightest, as I have an excellent relationship with the vast majority of my customers, and would never lose them on price alone, no matter how it may compare with others.
I hope this doesn't sound arrogant. I simply mean that my customers are very loyal and a pleasure to work for, and as such I try to look after them in a way that I do a good job for a fair price. The vast majority appreciate that and say so.

It rarely happens, I only ask because some on here get quite difficult when they hear of people charging £150 for a gutter job they would charge say £30 for. i just wondered why. It dosen't bother me (I simply make my prices the highest in my area as a result)

None at all, it shows that you can increase your own too.
Pricing isn;t just down to the cleaning of the windows, its also down to the service you provide and how you are perceived.
To which i go back to one of your previous posts regarding BMW's and Ford KA's.
BTW SC, are you missing out on the other forum? I seem to think these posts are to do with withdrawal symptoms ;D

Sorry which one do you mean?
The one we can't mention? (KD's)

To be honest i found your prices a bit high. You may remember i mentioned this and said it was a comment not a critisism. These prices would put me off using you.
Otherwise i think you are very sound- you are misguided on this- I'm sure you do a good job and offer value for money.

No problems Slumpbuster, I didn't take it as a criticism. I'm in a good position as I have lots of good work so I don't have to worry about people not accepting my prices.
The interesting thing is that people still accept my prices no matter how much I push the ceiling.

I don't care if people charge more than me,I am not the cheapest Window Cleaner around and not the most expensive but I am very happy with what I earn on a daily basis, don't rock the boat too much or it will capsize! ;D

I think I may have miss-asked this question, sorry about that.
I have noticed some who charge relatively little get upset at those who charge what they see as too much, sometime using expensive equipment as the reason. The lower priced ones dont seem to like this and suggest that over charging is happening. I was just wondering what those who charge less feel about this, and why they feel that way.
Not explained myself very well in this thread.
