Wow, is all I can say, after yonks of lugging around 25 litre barrells and a heavy trolley all day, my first day van mounted was a real eye opener. So much lighter on the body. I don't feel trashed.
I was a bit fingers and thumbs at first with the hose and reel and the controls, but after a few houses I got on with it well.
No more lifting a trolley and all the gear through houses,or on and off the van all day long.
Had a couple of cars go over the hose but presumably this is Ok, as it didnt cause any damage?
I can see some drawbacks with it though, such as having to shift the vehicle a lot more during the day, and the concern about people falling over the hoses, and its less versatile but I dont think I will revert back to the trolley that often anymore.
Man it was like doing a totally new job.
