Last night about 8.45pm, light was fading, I set off for my local sports club for a glass or two of throat oil. On the way I saw a bloke cleaning windows!
He was a proper window cleaner, good A frame ladder, bucket on a belt etc I can't imagine why he was still out that time of night. I would be too knackered to stand by then.

Must of needed some beer and fAgs money.

the guy i started out working with would regularly do this. e cleans chimneys, windows and powerwashes.
his first chimney would be 7am and at this time of year he would usually work until it is dark!! how would some of you guys like that lol?!!?

I'd want to be home well before then, but i think the conditions at that time of day would be ideal for traditional cleaning.

Uh-huh, maybe 6 hours isn't a long day for me, but I do start to feel everything after 6 hours. But dawn till dusk? You are doing something very very wrong if you don't earn enough money in 5-6 hours. :o

sometimes it isnt all about the money....

Same here, I bet custies love putting the kids into bed and seeing the WC at work! :o
Must have big bills to pay if he works that late.

Maybe it's his second job, maybe he didn't start till 4pm.

What is it about then? Would you work dawn till dusk because your having such a blast you can't stop? :P
Maybe it's his second job, maybe he didn't start till 4pm.
That's a good point, maybe he's trying to build up a round before ditching his current job. :)

Agree on that one.
I sometimes work late to though if I have got extra work on.
-
some people only know work, its all they have so it is all they do. its a mindset this generation and many urbanites dont understand

Maybe he's taking the wife and kids away for a long weekend, and just wanted to get finished.
I find now that if I put in a long day, I lose it the next through being knackered, each to his own as they say.

old boy round here cleans at that time but he stops in bed all morning and starts at 2
