Title: Gynnasium and sports hall floors
Post by: david p on April 22, 2005, 02:50:32 pm
Has anyone got any ideas on the best way to clean a large gym floor. The flooring is the type that looks like a jigsaw, connecting together approx 3 feet square. It has rubber marks on it from the weights and training shoes and just looks generally dirty
Also a large sports hall with green anti slip altro type flooring on it.This has scuff marks on it from trainers .
that do not come off when we pass over with the battery scrubber drier

Any ideas i would be grateful

Hi David
Have a look at www.prochem.co.uk and get their telephone number. I have been on their courses and they do all types of flooring. One guy ther has been in the business for well over 20 years. They will point you in the right direction of you get no feedback on this site.

Kind Regards

Tim

Your first port of call is to find out who the manufacturers of the flooring are and their cleaning/maintenance program of said floors, follow this should not be a problem if the customer wants it different get a disclaimer,

Timbob:

Thanks for your post, sadly Peter is currently in hospital, but he would appreciate what you said.

Contact me on lpettengell@prochem.co.uk for advice, the manufacturers name would help, we have an excellent range of hard floor chemicals, it is common for people to forget this as we are predominantly known for our carpet chemicals.
