so what van would you guys recommend for someone thinking of making the switch from car to van!!?
i was looking at a few second hand one recently, and im unsure, though i probably wont be switching for a few months yet.

i had a ford transit connect lx i couldnt fault it at all and they go quite cheap now too!!!

If you are after cheap then
Ex post vans are bright red, slow, but very very cheap
The LDV pilot is a favourite of mine last one I bought 5 years old, 33k miles years MOT £1900
Oh and I forgot they are also very ugly

This a good choice for a small van. You get 5 seats and enough space for 300 litres of water.
Citroen Dispatch is another firm favourite as they start at less than £1000 and have decent payloads.
If you are OK with a small van then the Suzuki Carry van is very compact and can easily carry a flat 250 litre tank with stacks of space left over. You will not break any speed records but very practical.

ive had my scudo about 3 yrs now, great van, enough for me on my own, got a 450 ltr system in it

We have a Berlingo and a Caddy and I much prefer the Caddy of the 2.
But think I will be go for the Transit connect next time round.

I use the combo diesel, and its very good on fuel. ;D
