Microsplitters work in a different way to conventional cleaning chemicals in that they shatter the soil-binders (the elements that attach the dirt to the surface) thus suspending the dirt for removal through the appropriate method.
They are very safe to use, are free of enzymes, detergents or solvents and are eco-friendly.
They are used substantially in carpet cleaning, but can also be utilised for hard floors, walls, ceilings, washrooms etc.
Take a look on the Carpet Cleaners board, around 1 in 3 topics will mention micro-splitters.
Excellent products. ;)

I don't understand why microsplitters were used on this job!! The floor looks like bare wood, shouldn't it be protected on a bar area like this? If there is a small dab of polish or seal on there somewhere microsplitters probably wasn't the right solution to use. And to be honest, it doesn't look like that good a job, is it finished?

Hi garyj
We have just got contract
7 to 8 years of bad cleaning.
pub did not want to pay for a sand and reseal
so as its my rep at stake I did it for free (makes my job easier in long run). lots of my clients drink in this pub.
Microspltter do the job qicker and easier that detergents. I think you will agree that evan though the floor is unsealed it looks better than having black top. and not its easir to keep clean each day
Whatch out for some new photos there are some stone floors in this pub that we are cleaning soon with microsplitters

bye to way this pub will the first in UK to say that its allerg FREE

This thread is confusing me. You clean hardfloors without the need of sanding or sealing?

Some customers are very cost conscious, I know this from experience as I do a lot of them :( also they wont implement a correct cleaning schedule it cost ££ recon Ian will get the sanding and sealing in time.
