Title: more leather!!
Post by: Mike Halliday on May 14, 2009, 05:23:59 pm
I was being my usual sad self today and looking around furniture shops at different suites when i got talking to a salesmen, I ended up giving him my card then he said "come and have a look at this suite we've just had returned after 3 weeks"

he said it was un-salable, so  I said i would buy it off him for £300 (it  was an original cost of £1400)

sent off a leather sample to Ben,  I'll have that re-coloured in an hour

Are you keeping it the same colours or are you going for a full change?

The suite I'm referring to looks the same as yours and is also a two tone finish with the top coat coming away on a light application of foamed Ultraclean.
It's so unstable it gives the impression that no protective coat was applied !!!!

Rob I think this is the same, I might have a little play with it to see how unstable the top colour is.

I saw 2 suites with the same problem in land Of leather a month a go, they still were selling the as 'shop soiled' with a small discount.  ::) ::)
