I have a 450 gpd RO in my shed and forgot I had another 300 gpd tucked away in the corner, the 450 RO has 3 X 150 membranes while the other has 3 X 100 membranes, could I add these 3 x 100 membranes to my 450 unit or does all membranes have to be the same on the RO unit, just a thought as it could speed up production on my static system, your views would be appreciated. ;)

Simplest is to plumb both in to work in parallel. You also will have a fail-safe in case one packs up.

well you can either
split the incoming pipe to the 2 RO units ( like alex said )
or
use the 2nd RO connected to your waste from your first, the downside is the 2 RO will not last that long, BUT if your on a water meter, less waste is good
personally i would go with the first option
