is it me or do some supliers really think we are stupid ?
Over the past few months I have been testing new suplliers, not that I was not happy with others more testing the market. I have to say after today thoroughly disillusioned
:(

They should be named and shamed.
I have placed a order with wcw this morning will see when it arives
-
wcw ???
-
I'm not going to say who as they have a business to run and could be an oversight, but I am a little annoyed to say the least.
Ian
And no it was not wcw, they are a good bunch of guys witht he dealing I have had with them
-
I've been very lucky so far and have not found a bad one yet. One has a bad attitude on here so I wouldn't go there anyway, whilst another has been absolutely brilliant for service and bends over backwards to help.
-
Stick to suppliers you have a relationship with. Cleantech are the best.
If you shop on price and constantly switch allegiances they feel the same way about you as you would one of your customers.
Also, for all you price surfers, very often what is said on the phone is different to what is said on the website.I spend thousands of pounds a year with wfp suppliers, and i would say i value the advice and help as much as the prices.

slumpbuster ,cleantech r ok .but when i ordered a new clamp it came with no lever or screws .aparently they are extra.but when ordered fronm facelift direct they come complete.bit odd that
however they r great compared to brodex .

The forum is here for exactly this, they should be named and shamed then all of us wouldnt have to go through the same process

Well Ian says
he's "not happy" "disillusioned" "a little annoyed " but he hasn't yet said why ???

I want to here others problems with suppliers, mine covers loads of things and not just from one,
Pricing, postage, not posting, cocking up orders costing days off work.
I will always try something new but I am thinking my bother, which is a shame as all new suppliers out there are tainted before they start out, had a gut full today and then a call I had tipped me over.
Ian
Clive I also spend thousands with suppliers, but at the same time I also expect to be treated with a little respect, I hate to feel like I am being taken for a mug becuase that is one thing I am not and it grinds on me, I hear loads of sales patter and trust me I did this myself for to long, tripping up is easy.

It's got to be Brodex! ;D

My worst experiences have been with Ro-man,.. I'll NEVER order from them again.
The best supplier I've found (so far anyway!) is Arthur @ Sureclean Systems, top notch service, great advice, and cheap too! :)
-
I gave up with Ro-man two years ago when they couldn't send elligable emails. Whoever was communicating was either foreign or dyslexic and totally unable to understand my enquires.
I don't bother with Brodex 'cos of their inconsistant prices and sales techniques. I found Ionics ok to talk to but too pricey. Concept 20 seemed good but again expensive. Scrim City - great. Gardiners spot on and DA services fine. Wintecs no problem either.

He was probably Roman! Boom Boom! ;D

Ian if you've lost a days work its actually because you wasn't prepared for the worst and you relied on a supplier to bail you out with equipment supplied yesterday, Hey we all do it then blame everyone but ourself s ;D but then again maybe they are crap, who was it ???

The Window Clean Centre in Ipswich has allways been very helpful and competative on their prices.
Darryl is the man to speak to....

Anything to do with gutters Ian?
Resin suppliers ???
-
I hope its not Brodex because I have just bought some gear off them >:(
-
well, lets have it, i say.... its in the interest of all of us on here to use the best suppliers,
and to share experiences with the bad ones, that way , they can be avoided by us..... and it will also show them , that the bad attitude they show to customers, will cost them thousands of pounds in sales,
It is there own fault,
but we can't boycott them unless we know who they are.!
-
Stange topic.
I'm not happy, but i wont tell you who with or why, but tell me who you're not happy with and why.
;)
also, I've not had any probs with Brodex or their gear :o :o :o

My packet came today

I am relatively local to wcw and friends with the guys there, they have always been great for me, even when i pester them with annoying problems! ;D If I order online I usually get the stuff within a working day. I have seen some other sites and spoke to a few mates who use other suppliers and I know there are other good ones out there.
I agree with the comments above, if we are allowed to big up the suppliers we have found to be good, we should be able to name and shame the useless ones. This does however rely on people being reasonable and not attacking someones business just because of a personal disagrrement
