There's the IICRC, Fair Trade, Trading Standards Approved scheme, Bics, Better Business Bureau, Guild of master craftsmen, if you put a logo on an advert ( legally) then you are going to get this.

What  do you have on your "van", Derek?  Bucket & brush or maybe a portable, or some other kind of carpet cleaning system?

Derek,
Was your Hydramaster TRUCK MOUNT was designed & manufactured in the UK!   No it was not,  it was ONLY supplied & fitted by a UK company  ;).  Some people advertise as having Van mounted equipment however,  the machine is still known as a Truckmount.  Do you say to people i have a Van Mount,  i would guess the answer is NO you have a Truck Mount.  I myself used to advertise as having Van mounted equipment but when talking about the unit i would explain that it is a Truck Mount.
