Title: Sun Burn?

I got Sun burnt on my face yesterday and it wasnt even that hot or sunny was bit cloudy with the odd sunshine poking through the clouds now and then - mad!

Im in manchester but am getting more tanned as weeks go bye , you can pick up the uv even through the clouds - and i tan easy, just annoying when everyone says "you been away" and you have to explain :)

custies say ohh you look brown - i say i dearnt take my top off - as im white!! i need to go on the sun beds and cover up my tan to even off  ::)

We've already had some really hot days here in Bristol, trouble is I've already got a t-shirt tan brown arms up to the elbow and tanned face.  :(

How many of you work topless and in shorts to keep the tan Even   ;D

stopped doing that years ago , now paying for it when I take top off need sunglasses  ;D

i do work saturdays ,i wear the watch shopping or night out  ;D ;D

even managed to earn myself the nickname, "Diet Coke Man" with some of the ladies 8)

why? are you the same shape as a coke can ;D

Im still milk bottle white here in the cold north of Scotland not seen much sun so far
I get jealous when you guy say you're working in shorts and t shirts and im in arctic gear freezing my nuts off

You guys, have to look after yourselves. Skin cancer is a huge issue in Australia and it will be huge in the UK and Europe soon. You won't find many Australian guys out without a shirt, they even go swimming with a shirt on. Things have changed big time. I know a couple of young guys that have died from skin cancer in their 20's and 30's. Be warned guys a tan ain't cool anymore, well down down here it isn't.

Good Point, I always use sun block, and its very rare that we get the chance to take our shirts off in Yorkshire!

Check this site out for the dangers. The guys in the photo died at 35 and his story has been used in awareness ads on tv for the past couple of years. Watch the ads, at first I thought he was an actor until they said he had died. I then googled him and found out it was for real.
