you can get a 300gpd from pure freedom, for just a little more... or a 200 gpd for the same price. ;)

Advise from a newbie (thats me by the way) .....
Go for a 200 / 300 GPD. I went out and got a 75GPD and i have had no ends of problems. It does keep me going, just about. After a month im going to be looking at a 300GPD or maybe a 4040.
You want at least 2 x 220L water butts to get your water storage up too. Best to have more than not enough (a lesson i learnt the hard way).
Good luck bud

i bought the 400gpd with twin pumps from the same seller, produces 75ltrs/hour.
paid £220 for it cos i already had TDS meter, 100ppm going in 1ppm after RO and before DI. i did have some teething problems, but now i'm really happy with it , i wouldn't bother with a 100gpd.
he's a really nice and helpful guy and a window cleaner

thanks for the replys.. EZclean why is there 2 pumps on that 400 gpd unit that you bought? are they 100psi each? how many filters and di units are on that setup is it auto flush? what water pressure do you have going in? sorry for all the questions ;D
-
is this the one you bought ezclean?

thats the one bud... 2 pumps= 1 for each 200gpd membrane.
there are 3 10" standard pre filters like any other RO. i didnt want a di cannister, i use a small 6x18 DI vessel after RO. but he will set it up for you if you wanted a built in DI instead, i think he replaces one of the prefilters.
it is manual flush. all that means is that every now and again you turn the blue tap that you can see below the rear membrane and just let it flush through for half hour or so.
the pumps are 100psi each and work a treat. you'll need a plug point nearby, and the transformers are not designed to run all day, they get warm, so to look after them he puts in a timer plug and sets it to switchoff every 90mins for 30mins.
i have ok water pressure but it doesn't blow the taps off, thats what the pumps are for, membranes work better with high pressure, produce more and lower ppm.
the membranes run in parallel as this produces quicker hence 1 pump each, this however produces a higher waste,
so it can be set up to run in series, this would mean 1 pump for 2 membranes, it wont produce as fast but the waste is lower.
IMO i dont think it makes alot of waste anyway, i have mine going down the washing machine drain and when i looked how much goes down, it was only a trickle. might be more concerned if i was on a meter. but hey...
i use 300ish litres a day. and use a trolley, i fill 6x25ltr containers to the brim so nearer 30ltrs, i come back and top up at dinner, and the 210butt is full. it fills it in about 3hrs. :D

thanks for the info ezee. so I guess the water comes in and goes through the pre filters and then is split to the two pumps and out through the two membranes ave I got that right?
-
thats it, and the waste and product are T'd from the 2 membranes so 1 pipe waste and 1 pipe Pure. simples :D
the mains inlet is on the nearest pre filter in the pic, and the waste outlet is where the flush tap is. product is on the other side.
it also has a cut off pressure switch, i fitted a float valve ballcock to the top of the water butt, works a treat

ive been using WFP for over 6 years and have allways had a 75 or 100 GPD unit
i used to start the week with 1 X 210 L rain water butt full and 10 X 25 L barrels
now its about 300 L in the van tank and a the rain water butt full
i know i only work 3 days a week, BUT i do a few comercial before / after my domestic that uses 200 - 300 L a week of water
