Have i missed something? I thought you meant the one in the picture pop riveted to the floor?
Suds, i know before you said the pallet was secured to the floor - but what holds the cage to the pallet?

do you still the trolley as a trolley or is it fixed to the van now?
You can take the tank off the black plastic pallet by just undoing the brackets, this will make it appear smaller in the van and lower the centre off gravity ;)

I thought about this years ago, one thing i wouldve done is have a toggle between the backpack tank and the barrels, instead of just disconnecting the backpacks source. You never know when you may need it.

No problem, it helps with airlocks and such.
600l IBC is too big for that van though if you fill it all the way to the top. If it's an 800 Berlingo, I wouldn't fill it past 500l. Also, I sincerely hope it is baffled otherwise that can be quite dangerous. How did you secure the IBC to the floor?

I always believe in making your own luck, boy yours is going to run out BIGTIME if you have a smack in your van. It surely must be coming to a time where D.O.T is going to crack down on wc,s putting themselves and others at risk by having insecure loads and being overweight!

thanks for your concern jon .
the pay load of the pug is 600 kgs this equates to 600litres of water ,however i only ever fill it to 300litres.
also Ive nothing to hide with the securing of the tank through the floor of the van its on a different thread. so if you wanted to ask the question maybe you should have before you made your silly comments.
